Bensonsmum - loving the tales of your FiL in his wheelchair and his outings, it must be good for all of you having him so close, but I am puzzled by one thing - you say OH is in Newcastle for a stag-do, errrm isn't that a long, long way to go from the South West .... even for a stag-do

Loving your friends cake - it is fantastic and really does look the best one there

Looby123 - smiling at your story of your FiL and his new shoes :D:D

Tricia - you've done good with those coupons hun :T :T

Celebrate - I so agree with whoever said it, but you truly are the voice of reason :A

HC - welcome back

I am off to bed now so I will wish you all goodnight ..... and sweet dreams of bread .... and cakes .... and butter .... and sausages .... and batteries

HI 3Dogs pleased to hear things are going so well for you both.

OH and his mates stag do has been arranged for over a year, and OH did want to cancel it but FIL was insistant that he went, his reasoning being that its all paid for and he said "to be honest with you, your doing my bleeding head in, im not a child and don't need a babysitter so whether you go or not i have plans for this weekend which don't include you - so you may as well go as im busy" this is what my FIL said to my OH, little did i know when he said it that i was the plans he had arranged for the weekend :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: as i said before i have a knackered arm, the doctor said its tennis elbow - but to me it doesn't feel like my elbow it feels more like the bone running down the length of my arm from elbow to wrist, so can see its going to be great fun getting him up the hill to the pub, it will be ok going home as i will just let him go and meet him at the bottom:eek::eek::eek::eek:

    60 pages behind :(
car failed MOT today so been a bit hectic as we didn't expect it to!

Love the pink glasses lala, are they girls/kids? My DD keeps stealing DS's so we need to get her some of her own!

Just as a note, the big bottles of herbal essences are half price at 1.66, so if you still have SSM coupons would only be 66p. Hope that helps someone :)

Hope everyone is ok, like I say 60 pages behind so not up to scratch with goings on.

Can anyone fill me in on any glitches/bargains etc?

Everything will be ok in the end, and if it isn't ok then it isn't the end :)

Your post made me go cold at the memory of my washing machine going up in smoke
Several years ago when my youngest was in nappies, I would quite often load the machine and set it going before I went to bed. This particular night, machine running, DH and I decided to stay up and watch a film.
Film ended and I went through to the utility room to see if was had finished. As I switched on the light I heard a strange popping noise and then the stench of burning plastic and clouds of smoke coming from the powder drawer

Panic stricken I yelled for DH to come through, he took one look at it, opened the back door, unplugged machine and managed to swivel it towards door and pushed it outside. Broke a few paving slabs but when I think what may have happened, my blood runs cold at the thought.

Good lord! Glad you were all ok, some things in life just don't bear thinking about

I read earlier today about them on Kays and Hotel Choc. What a plonker. I wonder who it is??? Right idiot me thinks
    bensonsmum wrote: »
What is wrong with this plonker:mad::mad::mad:

does he/she think they are going to get a medal or something.....

Dont know what his reasoning is but it seems he has little else to do with his life than stalk MSE and HUKD and reporting glitches to the companies involved:mad: Really with these glitches and the invaluable advice on here, many people (myself included) have saved a fortune

Speaking of which, I just want to thank you all again for all you do on here. DHs birthday is next month and although we are saving for a Florida trip at xmas, we really fancied doing something nice and have saved so much on shopping over the last 9 months or so that we looked into a weekend away...he fancied London to see his beloved Chelsea but hotel prices:eek::eek::eek:. So we just booked this evening for a 5 night trip to Spain:T:T, for less than the hotel in London for 2 nights, cheap and cheerful hotel but its away from life for a while

    Bensonsmum, awesome cake....voted for it
    Mr and Mrs 3dog (((hugs)))
    HC glad you came back
Know I had more to say but its late so love to you all xxx
