Got 10 packs of the sausages today. The Cumberland sausages were going through at the right price (£2.19) but the pork ones were wrongly priced:).

CS couldn't have been nicer and explained the DTD policy as I tried to feign surprise. He was talking it through with another member of staff as he put the DTD through the till. Explaining that it automatically works out the refund amount (which it did correctly).

If this is the case then it means all those who have to remind CS to get DTD are being duped.

Just found the sausages, only they were the wrong ones - didnt realise there were two on the go. I picked up the Cumberland, they were stickered at £2.19, priced on the SEL at £4 something, but scanned through at £2.19 - as I had 5 packs and some other bits, I 'had to forget my purse' - very disappointed as my OH really likes these sausages and they taste superb when they are free.

I have had the batteries confirmed via 5 difference sources 2 in S wales and 3 in different parts of england if anyone is debating trying

managed to get 4 packs of riverway sausages last night:)
big queues in store so had to go to self checkout.
overcharged as expected:)
went to get refund and was given jtd:(
i said what about ts policy of dtd:o
''we don't give that on self service, its upto customer to check prices'':mad:
i asked to see manager. she also said the same.:mad:
i said i'm not happy with that and refused to take refund.;)
''you have to take it it's done now''
so i did but i'll be calling H.O. tomorrow.
manager kindly put her name on refund receipt.
called H.O. today they appologised and would be contacting store. i had told them i had been given jtd of £8.60ish and he said a £15 gift card on its way

I had that said to me, I was able to ring up H.O there and then and the person on the other end rang the CS trout and asked "are customers able to adjust SS tills themselves?" The trout went beetroot, she then thrust DTD into my hand without a word, so I didn't bother to mention she had already given me JTD
