bensonsmum wrote: »Morning boys and girls, another beautiful morning here, hope you are all well. 3Dogs so pleased to hear that Mr 3Dogs is doing so well.. My FIL is still plodding along, and as strange as this may sound looks absolutely great, he is eating nonstop and hasn't looked as healthy as he does now, in years. I know he is non weight bearing but apart from that you would never know he is ill. OH keeps saying to me are you sure that that haven't made a mistake!! He still doesn't want to accept that his Dad will be gone soon and finds it really hard to talk about his imminent death. He is now in a nursing home less than five minutes walk away and every time the dog gets taken for a walk its round there to see him and they all go around the park together with OH pushing FIL in his wheel chair and the dog running riot between the wheels.
They do the pub saturday and sunday lunch time, Dinner at ours twice a week and then round with him at every opportunity he gets, OH is going to be so lost when he goes. Going to be good this coming weekend as OH is going to Newcastle on a stag weekend and i get to take him to the pub, only problem is i have a knackered arm and can't lift, push, or pull at a distance its alright up close to my body but not away from it, so i can see me pushing him one armed round in circles - so will be interesting.
Hope you all have a great day and catch you all later:)
I love the way he's 5 minutes away and he is getting the best of both worlds. He's getting all the help in the nursing home & seeing his family loads. If it can be it sounds the perfect situation if you know what I mean:)My dad was in a hospice at the end and I'd have loved for him to have been 5 minutes away. My dad was the same, looked so healthy no one believed he was ill. Sounds like you are all coping brilliantly at the moment and dealing with it in the best possible way which is day by day:)Clipstrip_Bargains wrote: »Lala - which store has these newfangled things?:rotfl: I'm not sure if thats worse than a frog hopping in! I'd have screamed! :rotfl:
Trust me I screamed, and the dog just looked at me like I was mad from his basket, probably best he didnt realise to be honest because I can't even begin to imagine what he'd have done to it:eek::eek::eek:It would have been like something on his territory;)Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:0 -

Driver should accept coupons, although I know some people have had problems and ended up having refunds in the form of e-coupons through H/O
You've missed a fair bit, but no point dwelling on them now ....current bits to look out for....using the new price flop coupons to the best of peoples ability on here!
* Huggies offering free nappies and £2 off coupons on their
website
* Thorntons free mini chocolate easter eggs giveaway - facebook page
* Look out for old Xmas stock of gifts and chocolates - most scanning at 1p (although probably not a lot left now!)
* Mothers Day presents - big reductions and some presents suitable for other occasions
* Toys - a lot of the pre-Xmas stock reduced by 75%...some people reported 90% but no confirmation yet.
* Wrights bread mix 80p moc - virtually free bread mix to go with your home made butter!
Am sure others will be along to add other bits and bobs to the list, thats all I can remember at the mo!!!

Morning all.
Good start to the day ...
No bargains or 1p items, just a handful of wombles and a £5 note in T's car park.
Question ....... for the whoopsie meat/fish/poultry that has 'use by' of that or the next day, is it ok to freeze on the day and use up to a month later, or does it have to be used on day of purchase?Nil Satis Nisi Optimum

If its fresh meat I freeze it, I take it out of its box and put it into a freezer bag (less space in the freezer) I keep the date label so I know how old it is and use it within 3 months0 -

Has anyone used the hand held scanners to do their shopping, just wondering if it shows glitches and 1p stuff
I haven't seen any of these - are they on trial in certain stores? Hope you both enjoy your road trip0
