Just reply with something factual and not abusive. I got negative for selling an item of mens clothing as a Large - the buyer said it was labelled an L and not a Large and so gave me a neg. I always thought it was L=Large so I just replied stating that.
Wow...I'm surprised he/she managed to find their way out of the birth canal.:eek:0 -
This is why i always choose the NPB route - so they can't leave a neg. However, some then pay via paypal and then get you back - as they can now leave a neg and retaliate with a INR dispute.
As Soolin said - i always check a buyers feedback left for others before considering a best offer or making a second chance offer.
So make sure you reply with something along the lines of' buyer bid on a collection only item and would not come to collect it'
That way other 'decent' people can see what happened.
I would also try ebay. They rarely listen - but sometimes they do.0 -
If you ring ebay won't they refund the fees under these circumstances? I had something similar happen over a year ago and by phoning them they refunded the fees. Maybe it's changed though.0

Thanks all, I'll give it a go later today?0

Some people are strange.
I had a similar thing happen to me, I bid and won, for a collection only, but the seller refused to give me their address.
That was bizarre.0 -

Not that bizarre, if it failed to reach the price they wanted. I have managed to pick up a few local pick up only items for a fraction of what they should / would have sold for had the selller been bothered to take the time and care to package them. I was rather embarrassed when I went to collect a toddlers rocking horse for 99p and the seller was just a tad peeved, I gave them a pound and told them to keep the change. They were not happy that it sold.0 -
Give me his ID and I will buy from him and neg him for you0
