So you are still unemployed because you let pride and the fact you have to be their first choice stand in the way of getting a job. Way to go. That makes perfect sense. JSA is so much better than a paying job that I can see why you'd be on your high horse.
No I never said I had to be a first choice, just to be shortlisted would have been good in the first place. Her tone was not good when I tried to get her to reconsider and that I could do all the job spec.

It wasn't a job interview by the way, only an agency so no 100% guarantee I'd get one and why would I if I was told I was not suitable

I was still not meeting the criteria though so no idea why she then got in touch. Desperate I guess but I am sure she filled the job.

That may be the case but she told me, not once but twice that I was not suitable for the role as like for like I didn't match the criteria. If she then is going to say something different after finding my CV (the same CV) online 3 weeks later then maybe she should have not turned me down in the first place.

    Perhaps she made a mistake?

I am sure you had your reasons for turning down the opportunity of another chance and if that chance was to provide me with a job, I would not let pride or bloody mindedness jeopordise that.

You don't normally make the same mistake twice, but still
