What is your charity shop bargain of the week?

I bought a Zara jumper and another teddy for my dog. £4.50. I'm not sure if that is particularly good value as I don't shop in Zara, but it looked in very good condition. It was stripy too and I was out looking for a stripy top.

I went into an office bathroom and saw B&H handwash again today! Black Pepper and Ginseng.:p

I'm off for a proper search around the CS shops tomorrow, I will hit at least 6 shops tomorrow!

i keep seeing b and h in shops such as tesco being sold new i feel like offering to reverse up a van and take them straight to the charity shop cut out the middle man as it were xx

There's still plenty of time, I'd encourage her to make something and give it to her. Something like this is easy enough, and a better use of the cash:

Just as an aside - we went to a local gin distillery event at the weekend, and I felt as though we had wandered onto the set of The Archers...lots of talk of cows, neighbouring farm gossip & the general chit-chat of rural country folk socialising!

Looked in the local CS for DH's favourite author - no joy. It I did find a new Blue Harbour t-shirt for him for £2.99 and in the local hospice shop a BNWT red lined lace top - what particularly took my eye was that the pattern had been matched on the front and on the back ( our pet hates Miro?) In a chevron design - £5. Just right for a family lunch on Saturday

Ha! I frequently spend week-ends up in the Dales with 'country folk' friends...it really is another world! Full of smells, (sileage....ick ick, cow pats...ick ick) and as for the noise, well, (tractors/chain saws/quad bikes/sheep & assorted animals etc). Give me a nice town with pavements and just the occasional nee naw. I start to get panic attacks after about 2 days due to being away from (charity) shops!

My policy on coats would appear to be to own one for every occasion and every type of weather. I love coats, boots, jumpers, anything wintery really, I love winter.

omgoodness one coat i feel faint at the thought...my fav cruk shop sell coats for £3 and i take full advantage also worth looking in the end of sale i m and s....might count mine later to see how many more i need must be 20 plus xxx
