Congratulations! Hope your LO is healthy and happy!

You'll find loads of cute items available in the chaz, just don't underestimate how quickly he'll grow in the next 12 months!

I won't, have bought in all sizes up to 18 months whilst I was still on full pay ;)

    Congratulations from me too, Lucy.

Our local Cats Protection shop is closing. :(
Apparently head office say they aren't making enough money.

Kicking myself for not buying a DVD 'Red Dog' from the hospice shop for 75p.
I have a copy but my friend would have liked it.
    I don't know what I was thinking.

This weekend I treated myself to a chazzer trawl in new territory to me.

Now I know I can locate books at 25p each, or 5 or 6 for £1, no longer will I buy for £2+
I lied, I bought one today for £2.

In fairness it came from a chaz that prices books at £1 each, but this was a massive book of bedtime stories for our LO, and looked brand new. RRP £25.

Great boot bargains, Georgie - the first 2 would definitely find a place in my (overcrowded) shoe wardrobes. :)

We have similar tastes it seems! Boots and khaki jackets :T

Just noticed (when you click on the alternate black colour of the first boots) that there is actually meant to be a zipper that closes up over the studded part, but it seems to be missing on BOTH of the boots. An easy fix I guess, although I'd probably wear them open anyhow.

The Cat ones I adore! They just jumped out at me, and for a pound, I can't believe they weren't snapped up sooner!

The third pair (even though my size) are a nightmare to get on, I really struggled to get my feet actually into the boots, I can't be on with that every time, which is a shame. :(

Just odd bits & pieces this week........

    2 x 5 pair packs of 'knee high's', BN, £1.50
Blue cotton stripey jim jam bottoms, BN, £1.25
Autograph cobalt blue T shirt, as new, £1.25
    Activa flight stockings, BN, 25p

All from the community chazza. :)

On my second visit this week I found a Post Office card on the floor, like the sort peeps get their pension with, no signature on it. Handed it into the shop manager then went round the shop asking if anyone had lost a card as it can't have been there long. Then on my way home I found a £1 coin on the pavement....karma I reckon.....!:p

I gnabbed a pie maker on Monday.
It has space for 4 deep pies and will be so handy for making packed lunches. It was 3.99.
I already have one that does one large pie and that works wonderfully but of course trying to take slices of pie to work is quite messy and we have just picked all our apples so there is plenty to go in them.

My DH passed away in July, and in the past few weeks I've finally started to cook some proper meals for myself, however I found that the gravy boat I used to use for both of us is now far too big for one, so I wanted to get a smaller one. This week I found a lovely one in the charity shop that raises funds for our local hospice (where DH spent his last couple of weeks and passed), it was only £1 and is perfect for me.
