Last week, I had an emailed code, to enter Monday to Sunday, thus earning double points , but on Sunday I miss-copied (I didn't extend the highlight box far enough so left off a 1; easily done on a small screen). I contacted the team explaining my mistake, but they said that, as the code had been accepted (couldn't have been as it didn't work) they could do nothing.
I pointed out that , yes, they could credit as they had done it before and added that we have been subscribers for over 3 years, so perhaps a credit in appreciation of our custom ?
Today's reply was that I was told it was a one off, so no chance.
Ok, it was only a loss of about 75p, but ,on principle, they have lost our custom.
I have thought the subscription a waste of money for ages (especially since there are no more M&S vouchers and more points needed for the rewards scheme) , because the weekend papers just rehash items from in the week, are bulked out with unread travel, sport etc, and the glossy magazines are only used to check tv programmes, so they have done me the favour of pushing me to cancel and save.0 -
When did they stop the M & S vouchers?
I thought they still did them?I am a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Mortgage Free Wannabe & Local Money Saving Scotland & Disability Money Matters. I'm not referring to the M&S vouchers saved for with Rewards points. Subscription takers used to have regular (every two months ?) M&S vouchers sent to them, even before the Rewards scheme began. They were discontinued some time ago, before the rewards scheme moved to include all issues and not just weekend ones; a move which seemed to give an extra 50 points but actually requires about a week's extra papers to get the same reward.0
