They haven't jacked up points needed for the rewards either :T

Just had my paper delivered and I think you will find that they have increased the points needed for a reward.

Not logged on to the website yet but according to the magazine to get a £5 voucher will cost 2000 points - last time you only needed 1500.

Also to get a £25 voucher is now 9500 points but last time was only 6800 as I was saving up to get this.

I guess too many people were signing up to the club and it was costing them money.

I will continue as I have the Mail delivered everyday anyway so it is something for nothing - just got to remember to put the codes in on time :rotfl:

I also note that if you enter a code in for Mon-Fri of the same week they give you an extra 50 points so a potential 100 to come during the week and 250 at weekends.
  • Points needed do seem to have gone up accoprding to the magazine.....2000 points for a £5 voucher and 9500 points for a £25 Tesco voucher for example. They used to be 1500 points and 6800 points respectively and on the Daily Mail Rewards website they still show as 1500 points and 6800 points. Confusing all round. Just to add, any problems enetering a number and as long as you can answer a question from today's paper, points will be added.
  • Just snuck in and claimed my £25 M & S voucher for 6800 points (even though the mag says 9500)

Lets hope they send it to me.

Will be interesting to see when/if they change the cost on the website
  • From the website: If you already have enough Mail Points and are collecting for a Reward, you may want to redeem it now. From next Saturday 29 September, we'll be increasing the number of Mail Points required for some of our Rewards.

So I assume you will be able to claim on current points for a reward until Friday but would do it sooner rather than later in case they change the system earlier.

Thanks Flight info- I claimed a £5 Boots voucher for 1500 points yesterday.

There was nothing on the website yesterday about an increase.

500 points isn't too bad for the £5 vouchers, but looks like bigger increases for the higher vouchers.

Did think about buying the odd paper now during the week but wouldn't do it every day so an 10 point gain now and then isn't worth it. Were it say 50 points I probably would.

So you have a week to decide what to get
Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)

  • The swines. I have just entered my Saturday number and was only given 10 points. What are they playing at? Has this happened to anyone else?

I can't believe they have put the numbers on the back page, anyone can now copy them.

They can even be torn off the back or copied and then a little bit town off so that they make sure they don't get caught.

This happened to me a few days before they stopped for the break. Hubby bought it in WH Smith and he said there were 7 papers and he took it from the bottom of the pile but someone had already copied the number and used it - how mean can you get? I think it must have been a staff member with it being at the bottom of the pile! I hate when people only care about themselves! :(

  • Don't know what's going on with the forum tonight but on the third time of posting, they've hooked a load of people on 750 points before the break, into buying the papers throughout October because of the interruption.

Since the end of October co-incides with the expiry of the extra summer vouchers that I got from Mr T, I am done with the club after that - will see what these changes will have done to any separate Christmas campaign they run this winter.
