Ooh - just had an email, its all about to change...
'In order to bring you our next exciting development, The Mail Rewards Club is closing for two weeks. Don't worry, you won't lose a single Mail Point and Unique Numbers will return on Saturday 22 September!
When we return, all of the Mail Points in your current collection will be transferred into your Mail Bank Account, ready for you to spend as you wish. There will also be some exciting changes & improvements based on the suggestions of you, our valued Members.
Don't miss your final Unique Numbers this weekend in Saturday's Daily Mail & The Mail on Sunday (and remember they must be entered into your account by 23.59 Wednesday 5 September).
When we return on 22 September every Member will be able to earn Daily Mail points seven days a week.'
So the scheme in Scotland looks like its being rolled out to the rest of the country.0 -
Not a happy Chappie
Saved 6250 so far towards e-reader at 8000 points and now they change the rules. I notice they don't say what will happen to future weekend points but assume they will be diluted in future or done away completely with in their efforts to make us buy daily paper.
collect numbers
Why do they need a two week break anyway as I am sure their plans are already complete and ready to go.
I wonder if there is a contract issue here as I seem to recall that they said collect coupons "every" weekend to earn your rewards.
Also they were quick enough to not permit me to add numbers whilst on holiday for two weekends even though I purchased the papers but did not have access to my computer to add them in the required time scale.
More explanation from them would be appreciated as to what is going on.0 -
Is this the e-reader that people are saving for,if so. could be why it is saying limited stock.

It has been advertised as being half price in the papers for a couple of weeks now.0 -
Thanks to uklego on PTS
The Mail Rewards Club is taking a two week break and will be closed from Thursday 8th September and re-open on Saturday 22nd September while we prepare for our next stage of development - Mail Points every day of the week! Don't worry - you won't lose a single Mail Point when we are closed. Make sure you come back on 22nd September!"One hundred years from now, it will not matter what kind of car I drove, what kind of house I lived in, how much was in my bank account, nor what my clothes looked like but the world may be a little bit better because I was important in the life of a child."0 -
It looks like The Daily Mail are moving the goalposts, yet again! I think it was actually called "The Weekend Rewards Club" when it first started, but now they want us to buy their paper 7 days a week. That was probably the masterplan all along and to be honest, its the kind of behavior we have come to expect from a UK Newspaper. I dont mind buying The Mail at the weekend because it contains decent supplements and represents fair value for money... but there is no way im gonna buy it every day of the week, just to get a few rewards. I think i will just cash in my points and move on.0

Just tried to enter my reward no, and for the first time ever, it says the no is not valid. I just wonder if there is a glitch today!
Going on holiday today, so will have to leave DS to sort it out for me on Monday.0 -
i`ve got same problem will not accept code and sure my balance has changed, last week i only needed 100 pts to bank my points now say`s 350!!!not happy.0

My number not being accepted either. Have tried to phone, and there is noone answering. Annoyed.....
Coupled with the news that this is closing for two weeks, this seems like an own goal for the Mail - I cannot see that the new "all week" version will work if you cannot get it to work on only two days a week and keep changing the rules.0 -

We are happy to buy at the weekend (and did prior to the scheme), but no way are we buying the paper every day.
I reckon you won't be able to get anything at all (or for ages) if you only collect at the weekend now
And i'm doubly  because it was my turn next for a reward (in our household we pay for one paper each so take turns for rewards), so looks like I will lose out.
What a cowboy outift. Not releasing any more information now but making us wait weeks is a con because as someone has said, they've obviously got the details worked out now.0
