For anyone who IS starting the new scheme next week
Start with Todays Voucher as it will be converted into 750 points
rather than 1500 -
Thankfully I only need one more code, so will buy it next Saturday and then not bother. I think they have messed up with this as I think they will lose a lot of readers that used to buy both papers just at the weekend.0

Yes, but if you do not have to select a reward this week then it will be carried forward.0 -

i have checked my card and there in nothing on it.
so does that mean they will still be sending me the 5 pound boots voucher?
i dont think i will be collecting any more tokens as i go out my way to pick up a paper at the weekends.
I got the two cards one day and my Boots £5 voucher the next.Yearly Grocery Budget - £100.77/ £3500. January Treats Budget - £11.80 / £100.0 -
I am starting to wonder if we are all too generous giving out spare codes - I have done so a few times and all I see is the same people on here asking for codes. Surely it must be possible for them to get a paper themselves. There will be some people who have a genuine excuse of not being able to get the voucher e.g. being on holiday or sickness.0

From reading todays magazine it seems that the requirement to collect within a time limit remains.
A maximum of eight weekends is mentioned, as opposed to the current four, but of course that is to collect six saturday and six sunday codes, you then bank 1500 points.
We have nearly always bought the Saturday paper anyway, only buying the Sunday paper on a regular basis since this scheme was introduced, so, for us, it was just about worth the bother.
Had I been able to just bank points without time constraints, I'd have probably carried on, but if the new rules are as I read them, I'm afraid I can't be bothered for such small return.
I'm also annoyed by the phrase "a little longer to earn rewards"
By my calculations a £5 reward for 12 papers as opposed to 7 is a 71% increase, that's the important figure, not the number of weekends, why does everybody try to varnish the truth these days?0 -

that's what I got so fed up with in the beginning! Then found last weekend I wasn't able to get a paper so asked on the off chance. Very kindly someone gave me one. I had a spare code yesterday (my mum gave me a code and I had the paper already)so I put in my post I wouldn't give it to a regular asker! The first person to PM was a very regular poster and I was more than happy to pass on the code. Surely some effort and money has to go in to collecting for the voucher.0
