  • Today's paper indicates the new Rewards and the points needed:

    £5 voucher is 1500 points

    £25 voucher is 6800 points

If the value is 100 on a Saturday and 150 on a Sunday then it is 6 full weeks for £5 (against the current collection rate of 3.5 weeks) and 28 weeks for £25 (against a current collection rate of 17.5 weeks).

    That is some change

That's what i thought! Might stop buying the paper now. Didn't mind when I got a voucher each month but now it'll be £14.40 for a £5 voucher or £67.20 for a £25 one! And their reason for changing is because so many people joined!!!! Think they will definitely see a decrease in the number of papers sold.

Forgot the whole reason for logging onto the thread! I have a spare Saturday code if anyone wants it! Will not give to habitual beggers of codes (sorry but that's my choice, if you don't like it tough!) CODE HAS GONE - SORRY

The Christmas voucher was what, 13 to 14 weeks? Anything longer than that is a subscription to the paper, you could even get their 41-token quilt quicker than 28weeks, that's over half the year! Jog on Daily Mail...

In a way I am glad - The Mail isn't my first choice of paper and yet I have been buying it religiously on Sats and Suns simply for the Rewards. Sometimes they've sold out and there's panic about getting a code, a couple of times I have missed the deadline for input even when I have had the codes. One time I was left going through the recycling outside looking for the papers I had thrown out by mistake. And more than once I have bought the paper and the code has not been inside and it just causes stress !

I have been getting the Pizza Express vouchers or £5 PE giftcards but now that Tesco is back to 4 x rewards, there is little point. Especially as the the Mail rewards are going to take so much longer.

So now I can get a small part of my life back and the whole scheme can go swing :)
  • Also anyone else still waiting for their pizza express free meal voucher, I ordered around 3 weeks ago and still nothing have contacted them just to get a standard email response of no help?
    you're not the only one

Even with it taking up so long for a £25 voucher as we get the paper anyway I am still interested. But if it is a case of so many consecutive codes then that's too much of a commitment and I will give it up. If you can bank them however with no deadlines/expiry I will be :D

Getting a Sunday paper is a hassle, no paper delivery despite living in a decent sized town (my local independent newsagents won't deliver as we have a One Stop closer than they are, nice of them to let One Stop have the sale but I want a paper delivered, fgs we had delivery when living out in the sticks but not here!!) and you have to be down there at the crack of dawn to get a copy as they sell out fast. With me ill and Mum working every third Saturday (on top of her long M-F hours, no day off/half day during week for working at the weekend lol) it has been a chore and sometimes we've felt pressured etc to turn out early on a Sunday.

Even if you had delivery, the cost of that plus the paper would be more than the voucher is worth

For anyone who IS starting the new scheme next week

Start with Todays Voucher as it will be converted into 750 points
    rather than 150

Thankfully I only need one more code, so will buy it next Saturday and then not bother. I think they have messed up with this as I think they will lose a lot of readers that used to buy both papers just at the weekend.
