Along with the two cards, the letter mentions having to collect over 6 weekends rather than the current 4, this they call "a little longer", I call it significantly longer, increasing from 7 codes to 11 or 12 presumably.
Well, for me it was only borderline worth the bother of scuffing round on a freezing cold Sunday to find a shop with papers not sold out, at the new rate of exchange I doubt I'll bother tbh.0 -

Yes, I had this aswell and saw that they changing the new scheme to collect codes over 6 weeks, not too sure if they are changing the amount of codes you need or just longer to collect your 7 codes, presumably they're let us know soon, if it changes to 11 or 12 codes I doubt I'll bother collecting as that would make a £5 voucher worth £14.40 (6 Saturday Daily Mail at 90p and 5 Sunday Mails at £1.50
Also anyone else still waiting for their pizza express free meal voucher, I ordered around 3 weeks ago and still nothing have contacted them just to get a standard email response of no help?0 -
I agree with above posters - getting a reward every six weeks just isn't worth the effort or money. Hopefully it means you just get longer to collect the 7 codes rather than increasing the amount required.
Also yabbadabbadoo, I still haven't received my pizza express gift card which I ordered on the 19th Jan. I finally got a dispatch email 9 days ago after pestering them as to why it hadn't been sent yet although I still haven't received it yet.
Come to think of it, I don't think I've ever received an reward in the post without having to contact them first. :mad:Crazy Clothes Challenge 2016 - Jan £3.99/£2500 -

Sorry for the double post but just saw this part. I used to get the standard response until I emailed them asking if they were even reading my emails and that if they didn't have stock when they would be getting it ( a specific date please) or why it was still showing as available on the website etc... I then got a proper response and apology and told when my reward would be sent.
I dunno if it really helps though (it made me feel a bit better though)

Maybe this is something they're phasing in because my last normal reward only arrived two days ago. If they're going to lengthen the collection time then I'm out because £14.40 would be even dearer than an adult evening 3D performance, and no chain that I know charges more than a tenner unless you want the Odeon's fancy seats.
At least spending the Love 2 Shop voucher in Argos was completely problem free, swiped, signed, free stuff. Though it was funny to have this card that's now got a penny on it, I'll keep it as a souvenir0 -

The Hut are responsible for sending out the Rewards
Having used their website, I was not impressed with their delivery times
You now have to get 1500 points for the same £5 Voucher
You will get 100 for a Saturday token and 150 for a Sunday token.
So you have to buy 12 papers rather than the current 7
What a joke .....0 -
The Mail Rewards website will be closed for 48 hours from midnight on Wednesday until midnight on Friday to implement all our changes. If you earn a Reward this weekend please make sure you select the Reward you want before midnight on Wednesday in order to ensure we send you the Reward you want.0

I am in two minds about the new Reward scheme, think i need to wait until I get further details before making up my mind.
Not impressed or willing to collect for 6 weeks to get a £5 voucher, but from the ad in Weekend magazine there are going to be £25 vouchers for a large number of points. Now that would be worth collecting for a long haul seeing as we buy the paper at the weekend anyway.
Will be interesting to see if you need the points within a timeframe or it is more flexible, I did see a mention of being able to "bank" points so if they took away the 7 out of 8 consecutive codes and allowed us to get the reward only when we have enough points, etc i'd be happy.
It's my turn to choose a reward this weekend but i'm going to hold off until after the website is updated to choose something, using this weekends codes to get started.
Of course the new scheme may deter some of the regular names who post asking for the same codes like clockwork every weekend!0 -
I spoke too soon, my two cards arrived today, it's typical, there's never a delay when they want to change terms for the worse. This weekend they're saying collect as usual but since they're making the changes on Thursday morning, are they summarily extending the collection period now, without letting people finish their last 4-week awards?
We'll see whether these other money-off vouchers with the next reward are any good, but I think it's good timing to take a break from the club and my last voucher's definitely going to be a trip to the flicks.
[EDIT] OK, £25 vouchers? If you're collecting towards something specific then that's a different story - though I can only think of one DVD box set that I'd save up for that costs £30 on average, it all depends whether you can get one for Zavvi.0 -
i too got the 2 cards this morning and was expecting my 5 pound voucher instead.
i have checked my card and there in nothing on it.
so does that mean they will still be sending me the 5 pound boots voucher?
i dont think i will be collecting any more tokens as i go out my way to pick up a paper at the weekends.credit card bill. £0.00
overdraft £0.00
Help from the state £0.000
