I wonder if anyone else was caught out like me not noticing that the original Tesco gift card expires after 3 months?

It would have been nice if the Mail could have drawn people's attention to that at the time.

I've just checked my cards and one has a £0.00 balance - I didn't use them in order of receipt.

Have also realised a problem with another card recently on a wine order must have been because of this too though luckily Tesco did honour that one.

It actually says on the card that it expires 3 months from last card use and not date of receipt! It's a shame but I'll now either chose another reward or use the Tesco one straight away!

I can see where KxMx is coming from. Through rain, illness and after effects of late nights, apart from one day when DD and I were really poorly, we have staggered out to corner shop to get paper on both Saturdays and Sundays. I asked for and received one code, and was very grateful thanking the poster both on the site and through a private PM. There will always be someone who takes advantage of other people. On the whole I have found MSE people to be really nice and helpful, but as I said there is always someone, such is life.

Aside from keeping codes to PMs if I ever did have one to give away, I agree with this other main point in bold. This club will be six months old come Christmas time, one relative who occasionally gives me Saturday codes buys the Mail anyway and she has to go out at the crack of dawn to make sure she gets a copy, and she doesn't even care about the club. If you're on holiday that's different, otherwise making the time to get the paper is how you stay on track - not that it's life or death now the Christmas run is over.

I've also got into the habit of pulling out the TV Guide after buying the paper but before leaving the shop and making sure the code is in there, no idea where these lucky people live that have had two codes in their bundle but after hearing the stories on here I don't trust the shop to sell me a complete paper.

    Hi

Does anyone have a spare Sunday code?

Normally I would swap for a Saturday code but I probably won't have it until late tomorrow. If i get it I'll post it on here.

    Please PM.

    Thanks in advance
  • Try ebay, there are usually a few codes listed there.
  • I have a £10 off £50 M&S code (exp 27 Nov) to swap for a Sunday DM code if anyone is interested.
