If I get one of these I waste my time putting random stuff in, hoping they'll waste their time.Wanted a job, now have one. :beer:0

If your not winning then your not bidding enough simple as.
Choose Buy It Now auctions you win every single one you bid on.
Someone starts a 2 year old car at 99p, Your not going to win it for 99p. Is that what your moaning about?
I bought a tool thats now in last years colours, For half price.
Same innards, Same dimensions and spec and even the same model number.
But the manufacturer have now changed the colour of the range.
Bargains to be had on ebay, I think a few bought old stock in bulk, Looking at the quantity they have and have sold.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
I do think things tend to go for more than they're worth, and people sometimes seem to bid merely to outbid someone else, rather than bid their maximum price (which is the whole point). As pointed about this is good for sellers, although ebay and paypals fees are massive.
The one time I won something for a nice price, I managed to determine the seller had been bidding their own items up via another account (shill bidding) as they bid hoping I would bid to outbid, then cancelled their bids just before the auction end. This brought the winning bid down a lot. Didn't stop the seller trying to sell for the max I had bid by adding it to the postage, instead of the winning bid though. Cheeky git. Didn't get my money and hope he enjoyed paying the ebay fees.Wanted a job, now have one. :beer:0
