    Afternoon all

DG so sorry to hear of your friend and yes you're right, it does make you stop and think.
Beginning to get the house sorted again after the weekend's celebrations, it's raining so it will take an age to get through all the washing - so many towels and bedding! Still, not in a hurry for them so will just wash them when it's better drying weather and I have space on the racks.

Tonight's tea is left over party food (it was the same for lunch!) and apart from that just going to be lazy and hopefully get an early night.

    Welcome to Tryingtocutback

    Take care. XX

    Evening all

We had gorgeous weather here - got all my bedlinen done (line dried smells wonderful!), tons of lurking ironing, too. Also managed to put most of said ironing away - the upside of staying home with poorly boy. DS still ill - must be a nasty bug to keep him low this long, usually has a strong constitution.

Did chilli in SC for tea, leftovers going in the freezer for another day. Surprise present of some clothes to look through from a friend's children, via SiL, so going for a cuppa and a rummage now!

Hugs and kisses for the sad/tired/bereaved/fed up/poorly, congrats to those with good news, hope the world's better tomorrow for us all! :D

    A xo

    Evening all,

Been a rather lazy day, cooked brunch and then went to visit cousin who had a stroke last year...we had a good chat and I stayed to make him a sandwich and cuppa around 6 as he can do both but can't carry them to his living room and refuses to eat in kitchen....he is 82 and very set in his ways.

Roads busy to-day as people are coming back from countryside after long weekend.

Have been knitting since I came home, blanket going well

    Hugs to all, sleep well
