You may recall my iron seemed to have died. I told my mum this and she has loaned me her old one. I am less than pleased as it has upchucked brown rusty water onto clean stuff. I am somewhat behind with the ironing as a result, more washing on line, more dusting and rehoming. There is very little misplaced stuff in both bedroom and LR now, maybe I will get the LR cleaned later (am SO glad Easter hols are coming up). If I could get someone to re lay my DR carpet (and trim it) I would have less stuff being tramped into rest of house - I now have a doormat at the entrance to the dining room in hope of trapping fluff and fuzz :rotfl: Anyway I have cast my bread on the water and am exploring options for carpet layers.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily Dickinson

Which reminds me, I must remember to get him to put the garden refuse wheelie out tomorrow night, as it's chock full of grass clippings. If I mention it here, I might just remember!;):DIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Lots of washing done and on the line.
Huge amounts done in the garden, the neglect of the last two years really shows but I keep finding lovely plants hidden under the mess so that is good.

I wish I was Dusty Two Bins though!
Sadly that is a thing of the past on our new schedule and with neighbours living in the rented house. Those were the days:rotfl:
Another load of washing on the line, another in the machine. Just 2 more for tomorrow and I'm done.
Off for a cuppa in the garden next with my last two bits of mending. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
I have 2 bins..
.. 2 black wheelies and 2 blue recycling wheelies and only 1 barely used garden brown bin and 2 composters.. my recycling bins are always overflowing and I often use next doors as well (students are not good at recycling!)

We have jumped in the brown bin lots of times. Allowed a second one but you have to pay, and it is only March when we need it. NN doesn't use hers much so I may ask.
Working on the veg plot now, hands too sore for the Felcos so no more pruning, just weeding, digging and hoeing.

Hello all, usual vacuuming of living room done, dogs walked, yorkshires made (we've just had our roast beef). Have cut the grass back and front and have been enjoying the sunshine. Hope you're all having a good day.Spend less now, work less later.0

Afternoon,
Spent the morning at the park and buying nut free cake. Ironing is done.
Just spent the last hour cleaning DS2' (now 9) highchair to sell. It has been in garage. I have just given up and earmarked it for the tip. The seat cover didn't come clean around the biddings and I doubt if they still sell covers to fit, had a quick look on ebay. My back is sore now.
DS1 has arrived back alive from his 1st sleep over in years.
Anyone fancy a cuppa? I'll stick the kettle on.0
