Do I win the prize for the sh!ttiest day??

Some of you will recall my alcoholic uncle being found dead almost 2 years ago (9th April!) ??? And the children were in a childrens home in Germany.. well.. their mum has died too now...

Words can't quite cover how furious I feel ... and those poor children lost both parents before they are even old enough to go to school!!

at least they can grow up without the baggage their parents were.

I am going to go be cross in a corner..

Dragon:eek::eek::eek: are you OK? This is exactly why I invested in a bath lift recently; Mr LW was having to lift me out of the bath, and I was so afraid one or both of us would end up injured before long.

I hope you've not done yourself too much damage - spend the day resting and cuddling Furry Dragon.;)

Eeee gosh hope you're ok, Dragon x

I've dropped littley off at her nanas, got gas/elec and cat food on the way back. Emptied the mop bucket teenie left full of dirty water and, as it turns out, a broken mop *tuts* loaded the DW and cleaned the kitchen and hoovered the floor. :A

Now I'm going to peruse Lakeland for oven liners and *coughs* 'goodstuffwhichIdon'tneed'

I asked about a bath lift but I am too heavy :o, and not too much more damage (I already have enough :rotfl:), Furry Dragon (tm) is currently being solar powered in the back garden :D

Fortunately I made quite a good start with flying earlier in the week which meant that my day off Weds and busy days at work Thurs and Fri didn't put me in too much of a bad mood which is what would have happened in the past. Only room which didn't get cleaned thoroughly is my bedroom, but its ok anyway. Today, I have vacuumed living room as usual, walked dogs, done food shopping, and done a budget. For the first time in my life (and I'm quite old) I am saving ahead to pay for things like car repairs. The sun has just come out here, but I'm in my dressing gown, so will just stay indoors now and read a book. Have a good evening everyone.

    Afternoon all

Dragon hope you are ok, what a shock

Piggers that is too much sad news for one day. My thoughts are with everybody affected

Mainly packing and washing here at the moment.

Did take DS2 to buy his first suit today. He looks so smart. Fingers crossed it has the right affect.

Mother due here in a minute for a 'quick' visit.

Just logged on and switched on the PC. I have stripped it doen and defuzzed it - so back to 'silent running':D all wires wiped plugs labelled keyboard cleaned and everything sorted then I have done the bookshelf behind me so that's another deep clean done!

I tried to iron earlier. It has blown the fuse board - 3 times so I'm guessing there's an internal problem and I shall got to Mr. T for a new one. I'm sure I have a £5 off a £50 spend coupon somewhere...
I have also bought a wireless 4 gang plug in plug so DD has that instead of here 4 gang extension - much tidier. And my old fridge freezer has been donated to my friend's brother who is just starting out in his own place following divorce - he was renting a furninshed so he's got nothing. he also has some of my old crockery and a toaster I found on top of the kitchen cupboard:D
So this part of the hallway has been level 3'd

    Piggers - awful news.
