Hi all, I've finally done some flying, had to recover from projectile vomiting earlier this week._pale_

Anyways, today I have wiped all cupboards in kitchen. Wiped dw, fridgefreezer and washing machine. Tomorrow I will disinfect the fridge.
Also put together all by myself two Poang Ikea chairs and a stool.
Hoovered front room, hallway and dining room.
    Rearranged furniture in dining room.
    Wiped down doors.

Wiped skirting in dining room and fireplace and fire surround.

Taken half of the detritus from that room into the spare bedroom to get it out of the way, its ebay tat on tour round the house again.

    Also 2 loads in wm.
    Hoovered kitchen rug.
Wiped stubborn marks off on laminate and tiles.
2 loads for charity shop ready by front door.
Sorted some of my books out, there are piles everywhere.
Replaced bathroom bin with a more suitable one.
Thrown 3 binbags of rubbish out.

And thats it for today, now off to suss out what to have for tea.

    Decisions people...

My freezer is on ye blink.. will be £178 to repair... so.. do I

    a. pay for it get it repaired, covered for a year.. no handle no drawer fronts etc

    OR

    b. buy a replacement for another £106 which matches the fridge I got a few months ago and is slightly narrower so will fit in the gap better. A new one would also have doors/drawers still attached and a handle to open it with (the old one lost its handle years ago)

Either way this is a credit card payment.. with interest!!

No brainer piggers - new one is cheaper and less interest to pay.

Shattered. Finished work around 1.30am and have to get up soon to talk to a client in Singapore :(

Morning all, spent yesterday outside in the garden so no flying done in the house.

Rhys went to doctors and has a chest infection, very relieved to know whats wrong and hopefully he should start feeling better in a few days. :)

Came home to find DS1 in tears because he has a sore head and ears. Phoned GP who said to see out of hours. Got an appointment for 8.30 but wasn't seen until 10.30 :eek: so ends up DS1 has an ear infection in both ears and a chest infection. :(

I've woke this morning with a cold, knew it was coming. So today i'll catch up with the flying, wallpaper scrapping and paperwork.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Personally I'd go with option B - does it come with a good guarentee?

    an hour's me time

Not doing too badly all things considered. Bedroom is looking fantastic so far. It will be finished next week, and the spare room may also be done by the time I'm back from my trip next week :j Rest of the house is relatively tidy and I have made lots of soup for the freezer (have to make more though to use up all the veg that won't survive my absence.

Heating is working and has been fixed permanently by OH and my cousin (probably more my cousing than OH) which is a bonus, even if it slowed down the decorating! At least I won't be here to breathe the varnish fumes...

My voice is coming back slowly. Very slowly. So still no phone work although I should manage next week's presentations and meetings if I'm careful.

it has 12 months which is what the £177 repair would get too, but it can be upgraded to 3 or 5 years (£65 or £85) which I wouldn't have to do right now

That seemed the sensible option to me.. thank you all xx

*trots off to buy a freezer.. :p.. *
