I'm still alive, honest... just about.
Started my new job this week so been completely knackered and done nothing so far
Planning to get Mon, Tues and Wed lists done tomorrow when the OH is away and then do Thurs and Fri on Friday. I don't think the everyday thing is going to work for me but when I get into it I don't mind doing a few days work in one day so it might be the way forward!Just because you made a mistake doesn't mean you are a mistake.0 -
Bit of a slow day here, kitchen done and thats about it. Rhys has spent all day sleeping so he's booked in with the doctor tomorrow.
Lil_me well done for writing a list for the doctor, i hope the tablet kicks in soon (it's the same as what OH has).
Right shop run and then homeworks finished..Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough. And things go wrong no matter what I do.Now and then it seems that life is just too much. But you've got the love I need to see me through.:j :j0 -

MoamAlthough no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.
Snowball says too far away, working hard to bring it forward.0 -
I've not been in this thread for nearly two weeks as I got some paid work - a rush project - and been kept so busy have hardly had time to think let alone clean. Finished that work now, so need to knuckle down on the house again. I'll try and catch up yesterdays jobs as well as todays to get back on track.

Not very successful today - DS seems to have given up daytime napping except in his buggy on a long walk, so not much getting done at home, especially between all the preparing and clearing up after his meals - still dropping most of his food on the floor!
I have also moved all the cookbooks from the living room shelves to the kitchen shelves ( didn't realise we had so many!) and put away a load of clean washing.

Note to self p3
glutton for punishment that I am we had no staff meeting today so I flew in my classroom - I ask you! duid some decluttering, flinging and sorting/ Came home and got the school tea towels in off the line and ironed them then got started on the chaos that is home.
Under the stairs (where a new fusebox has gone in), has been cleaned and stuff replaced. Toolbox and vacuum cleaners both Mr. Sheened - the dust is EVERYWHERE.
One cupboard has started to be filled up:D in an organised way - ie clenaed out, shelved rearranged to suit me, and stuff in:D:D:D:D
Living room is more accessible now (though still messy/dusty) but coffee table (which is glass_ has been damp wiped and Mr Sheened too) This maked the LR look less awful IYSWIM.
I shall focus on one area at a time and dot to dot. Everywhere needs damp dusting it's so bad - still - at least I know I will get it turned round in a decent time.
Kitchen is almost finished - tiler comes Thursday! Then TD goes in and it should be done!
Ooh congrats Sexymouse - a September babe eh? *sniggers rudely*
was a Merry Xmas than? (DS born on 25 Sep (mind you he WAs late) and me on the 26th!)Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Is that Dusty I can hear snoring? Have you fallen asleep in front of the tv?
Only joking (Wednesday list not posted -like a quick look before I go to sleep so I know what tomorrow will bring)
Monday and Tuesday done. Yeh pleased with myself, caught up from yesterday's decorating mission of mercy :-)
Hoping to persuade DH that fish and chips at the seaside would be perfect tomorrow:-) Feel as if I really need to recharge my batteries and the seaside always helps doesn't it.

Minion has been quite detestable this evening. Said she didn't want dinner when she came in, so I agreed to do it at about 7.
I was rather busy mucking out the splats at this point, so was quite happy to not have to do dinner straight away.
I went and practiced the setlist again (having been to yoga and spent hours on my feet today shopping for various stuff for Minion).
Come down at ten to seven (having left her with the TV) to find she has eaten all the cereal, her sandwich fillings, left weetabix crumbs all over the floor, sugar all over the counter, plus the sugar tub itself open on the sofa, plastic bottles, sweet wrappers, thrown food at the bin instead of putting it in the bin and there are dirty clothes making their way out of her pit onto the landing and there are clothes and shoes and school books all over the downstairs.
She then strops because food is going to take fifteen minutes and I have said she can unload the dishwasher and reload it in the meantime.
Two hours later, I am sitting on the stairs fighting the urge to just wallop her one as she is screeching that she never wanted to move from the mould infested flat in the middle of nowhere, she hates the magnolia walls and she is never cleaning her room as seeing the floor makes her want to scream, she hated my ex, I ruined her life, she wanted to go and live with her father and take out a restraining order against me so I wasn't allowed to bother her ever again, when she pestered for drum lessons from the age of 3, she never meant it so I'm abusing her by saying she has to go, and her Dad says that only freaks do music anyway and I'm only make her do it because I can't, the 7 day holter monitor she is connected to at the moment to find out why she is fainting and getting chest pains is only so I can get benefits for being her carer, when it's really just that I am starving her to make her ill because I've got Munchausen's by proxy and it's all my fault I gave her the bad genes that resulted in scoliosis, pectus excavatum, hypermobility and potential cardiac issues and not her physically perfect father who has scoliosis, pectus carinatum, hypermobility and cardiac issues, it was my fault that DD1 left home because she hated me, and not because she had been promised by her father than her boyfriend could move in (he lied), everybody hates me, I'm lazy because all I do is go and exercise, clean up the stuff she dumps around the place, study, cook, shop and rehearse for gigs, I don't feed her enough, only fat people have to eat salad, I don't care about her because I never listen to her constant tales of how awful the fights are at her fathers, and they are different anyway, it's against the law to make her empty the dishwasher or feed the cats, as Daddy says, I'm a lazy cow sat at home all day on the computer when I should be cleaning and scrubbing and doing everything for her, I shouldn't be going out and playing music and having friends because I don't have a job like her Dad and he can't have friends or a social life, so why should I and I was mean and selfish for not having a baby brother or sister for her.
I have suggested that she packs some sanitary towels in her school bag for tomorrow.
I did get a hug.
Must remember to dig out some pins for a voodoo doll of KH, though, as 99% of the diatribe sounded like his voice, not hers.
On the other hand, rehearsals are going well and I'm feeling quite positive about Sunday's gig.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0
