I am having trouble getting Sky, my preffered option due to the BBC selling us out on F1.
While i try and get the issue fixed thought i would look at the other options.
Whats your views on Freeview+ or Freesat?
Whats the best box to get?

Freesat is a preferential route for futureproofing HDTV as there's only likely to be another single HD channel appear on Freeview. It won't solve the F1 issue though unless you bought a Humax PVR and used each input for two seperate dishes as described below.
With regards to F1, why don't you look at getting a second dish setup at 19.2E (the Astra 1 location used for the Germans), RTL will be showing all the F1 coverage including those not on the BBC and will save you a fortune over subscribing to Sky.
RTL, in combination with Five Live's commentry, would be a good FTA alternative to Sky.0
