Neg is deserved IMO, out of interest was it listed as "advertised elsewhere" not that is should make a difference. It acutally annoys me when I see that and puts me off bidding, so was just wondering.
Agree that a Neg is truly deserved.
Some sellers use "advertised elsewhere" as an excuse to be able to cancel an auction just before it ends if they think the item is going to be sold at a low price.

I have seen 'advertised elsewhere' many times. As a new seller I once actually put that on one of my auctions for a large item which was collection only (because I thought that was the thing to do) - and had the auction pulled by e-bay. Apparently it is against ebay rules. I suppose someone reported my listing which is fair enough.
