Pre paid card for Indonesia

My Grandson is going to Indonesia on a trip organised by the School to take part in Operation Wallacea. They have been told they need American Dollars to change into the local currency. A pre-paid card has been recommended. Can anyone help with the best card for this? I would be grateful for any advice.

I used Fair FX, make sure he has visa money in USD though, there is a scam at the airport where any local currency must be changed into $ for the visa at a poor rate.

Cash Passport Globe if your bank is not one of the which charges for topping up Prepaid cards.

If your bank is one that charges, perhaps Kalixa via TopCashBack topping up via Bank Transfer.

Also make sure that he has exactly the $25, although change for dollars is given it's in local currency again.

Also remind him to take some earplugs, unless he likes a 5.30am 'alarm call'.
