Late Payment Fee During Account Transfer?

    As your statement was produced on the 13/03/12 and the DD instruction was not set up until 22/03/12 the payment would have not been collected by DD for that month. The instruction needs to be in place before the statement is generated.

    So why didn't RBS cards attempt to take the payment from RBS bank, as this DDI was already in place?

    Which is the question I suggested the OP ask RBS cards several posts ago.

    Im sure to be honest its something to do with the statement cycles.

    The same has happened to me kind of recently with HSBC I requested to change my DD details but because my statement had already been produced they could not collect the payment from my new account for that month.
