Vauxhall supply loads of cars to short term daily rental companies at stupid discounts.
Hardly surprising the residuals are so poor.0 -
Its like a furniture company offering 50% off
i read that as they are 50% overpriced and robbing you the rest of the time
of course if vauxhall said help keep elsemere port open for the future, buy our cars ,even though they are a bit dear it might help some choose a vauxhall
I read it as being 100% overpriced.0 -
It seems it may have dawned on the OP that the deal is not quite as good as they thought it was. Still would like to know which car and how much though.0

Hope you enjoy the new car, and thanks for the tips.0 -
So what s the RRP of a basic Corsa..........:eek:0

I would check prices/discounts on the web before setting foot in the dealers to buy.
A friend in work thought she was getting a good deal on her new car until I showed her www.drivethedeal.com and they were £1k cheaper. She used this and the dealer matched the price.
I can't can anything for any vauxhall on there.
Post up the prices you can get. Maybe it's me.0 -

Ellesmere Port will always be safe, its the only plant in vauxhall europe to actually make a decent profit for GM, plus it "could" build the entire vauxhall range, albeit at about 10 cars an hour instead of the current 45.0 -

Do you really expect a factory running at 56% of it's capacity to be safe?
And that "able to build any Opel model" nonsense was true 10 years ago. Things have changed..."Retail is for suckers"
