Phill sent me his info via email - with several attachments. Happy to forward a copy of that email if anyone who can't wait for him to get back on line would like to PM me with their email address.

To save any disappointment, can I just point out that his system relies on you having a normal (import) meter that shows a steady light when you're exporting electricity. Mine alas doesn't do that.

PM included an email address so I've forwarded a copy of Phill's email.

Have also had a couple of PMs asking for details but not giving an email adress. That makes it rather difficult to include the attachments !

We don't seem to have heard from Phill recently. Hopefully he'll be back on line soon.

I have emailed several copies of his scheme to people and happy to keep doing so. However, I'm away from home for most of next week so may not be able to respond either.

Would suggest anyone else wanting info places a note here and perhaps one of the people to whom I've passed details will be able to help.

Hi guys would really appreciate more info on this. We have a 3.84 kw system, -69 azimuth, and not able to utilise the median peak output to high kw items. First post, i know - but genuinely, actively not only want - but really need to get the best out of our system....

    Thank you for any help...

  • Could you send me details too please? Sounds just what I have been looking for.:)

    TIA.

I have a set of these switches and a relay, hit a snag, my meter was changed last week and they have put a meter in that does not display a light when exporting....only a light that blinks when you are importing. Can anyone think of a workaround.

I have changed the immersion to a 1kw with thermostat, and have a 4kw system.

    eg

Any way to make a switch that detects when importing and turns off relay to immersion ?

Any way to use electro magnetic sensoring ( as in electricity monitors) to gauge export, I have identified two tails and when a monitor is applied, one measures Invertor output and the other measures live domestic use, any way to combine those ?

Anyway to use export to turn on a small led, maybe in conjunction with above, ie useing monitors.

    Any thoughts appreciated.
