    Hi Legoman62,

I'm interested to know your savings achieved. Have you done any analysis of changes to your gas/oil usage since you installed this device? Have you checked you aren't importing more electricity than before?

Also is your house empty during the day?

    Thanks in advance

Yes, I am checking my gas/electricity usage since installation.
    Last year(same period) I used 1178kWh in 3 months
Same 3 months this year I've used 520kWh
Obviously most of this is related to my solar panels but, some can be attributed to my different outlook now that I'm a producer!
I am certainly not importing electricity to run my immersion!
energysavingexp's device is put together so that if you are producing
over 1.2 kw it sends the power to whatever you want. You can set it to your own house baseload and take it from there.
    Regarding gas:-
Last year my gas meter showed that I had used 27cu feet of gas in the same 3 months.
In the last 4 months I've used 3cu feet.
I know the savings will not be so good in the winter months but feel for my cash outlay I am on to a winner.
Last September Eon increased my monthly payment to £114.00 per month. This is now dropped to £84.00 and when I receive Septembers figures I expect it to drop further.

I am in during the day so I can maximise my free power.
