Vent: Next Flowers

Well, both bunches have now been delivered and I've seen them (by photo message) and they are lovely, so that's good.
I do appreciate what you are saying about a local florist but I don't know how you can be sure they'd be any better. Obviously, your friend is amazing, but I don't suppose they all are. If I bought from here, yes I would, I know of one reputable florist. It is an issue when living away though.
I have looked on interflora and they don't seem any cheaper. Lots of just under £30 to £40, which was similar to what I paid from Next, £30 (with vase) and £36 (large) delivered.0 -
My Mum sends me Next flowers every year on my birthday and they are usually lovely - however I live about half an hour from Next's head office so that's maybe why
However she sent me a bouquet a couple of months ago that had come from a local nursery (she's 180 miles away but she went to a local florist who rang through to their branch in the area or something) and I have to say they were stunning - just as nice, if not nicer, than Next.*The RK and FF fan club* #Family*Don’t Be Bitter- Glitter!* #LotsOfLove ‘Darling you’re my blood, you have my heartbeat’ Dad 20.02.200 -
Oh-oh ! Just ordered Next flowers for a ruby anniversary!
Did it on-line, registering etc, card and authentication etc. However, when it came to final coinfirmation, i had a pop down message that the connection between the encrypted sites was insecure, so I cancelled.
I ordered by phone, but lo and behold, then had an e-mail confirmation of the first incomplete order.
Was going to ask about it on techie board. Am annoyed, though. Cancelled one by phone.Member #14 of SKI-ers club
