Samsung Galaxy S Plus or Ace?

Hi all,

Like many here, I'm looking to get a Android phone as my first smartphone. I'm looking to pay around £15 per month on contract for a mid-range phone - I don't need a huge number of minutes/texts but I understand I'd need at least 500mb of mobile data.

Having done some research, the best phones I can find for this price are the Samsung Galaxy S Plus on Virgin Mobile or the Samsung Galaxy Ace. The S Plus seems to be the better phone, but it doesn't seem widely available (just on Virgin) - compared to the Ace which is offered by lots of networks. I'm currently with Vodafone but obviously they can't offer a deal with the S Plus.

I wondered whether any of the knowledgeable people on here had any thoughts on which of these phones/deals is the better bet?

Many thanks for your help.
