I have a full set that I use to fix dells all the time

Thanks browntoa,Would buying a wireless dongle allow the internet to work on the computer or will I need to send off for another disc to install the required drivers?

Have to say after installing from this disc its like a new computer, with the system it was running you clicked on a page and could have ate your dinner before it loaded,I tried everything I was advised, defrag, malware checks, registry cleaner,cc cleaner etc. but nothing would work. I posted a hijack this on the board last year but someone told me it seemed to be running ok,It was getting to be a close run thing with either I bought a new system disc or took a hammer to the computer, so if I can get it online I will be very happy and if not B&Q will be selling another hammer..:)

Yes, but you would have the same result from a much cheaper if not free, DELL XP disc.

    Ethernet Driver

    Slim version looks like this:

    Video Driver

So now you have both Ethernet and Video, though Windows Updates will probably take care of the video once connected to the Internet.

The rest of the Drivers are here
