(sorry don't know how to do short link)
Do you think you can put a pool like this directly onto a patio? Am concerned about the grass and comments people have made, but don't want to have to keep emptying it and moving it.0 -
pathetic!
It's bloomin pizzed it down here every day since Feb LOL
They want to move to Lincolnshire, then they can see what rain looks like..ha haTried and Tested0 -
Have heard that its been the driest winter in over 100 years and that hose pipe bans and the likes will be enforced
whats the point of paying out the money when you wont be able to fill it up in the hot weather when you really need to.
the reason its so cheap is that they want to get shot of them before they get tucked up with them.
I live in kent, and know i will have a ban.
I wont be best pleased if i look out my window and see someone filling one of these when there is a ban on.0 -

TimC wrote:If you do, you might want to put some foam sheets under (a bulk buy of camping mats perhaps?), to both protect the base fabric of the pool and to soften the landing for those intrepid souls who jump in! The other issue would be having a hard surround outside of the pool. I know our accident prone eldest would try and climb out the side and break her fall with her head - so even more foam mats ....!
We are now thinking of decking an area of the garden for putting the pool on and having a nice space around it for loungers etc, the foam mats are still a good idea though. I think timber decking will be better than hard paving slabs - what do you think??
(Have reserved the 10ft pool at my local Argos Extra - pick it up tomorrow all being well - hope we have another day like today:j )0 -
The 10ft one is in Toys R Us for £50.00
We bought the one with the inflatable ring last year and left it up for the summer, packing it away carefully - this year we gave up patching all the invisible holes and bought an 8ft pool £25 in ELC (and got a free mummy voucher which entitles you to a hair cut or a massage, pedicure, manicure...)0 -
Hello all,
Back when this post was started I pondered, weakened & bought a 12ft "Monster" pool, ladder, solar cover & stretchy cover.
Only the pool & ladder arrived as the other items not in stock.
VERY CONCERNED AS AS CYBER CHECKOUT still havent sent me a Solar Cover despite numerous phone calls when the two items not deliver. Was told they would send them out later that month .. after finally getting through they DID SEND ME COVER 2 months later & CHARGED ME £11 DELIVERY ON A £8 COVER - NOT TOLD OF THIS additional cost.
Phones always engaged & not happy as bargain pool is tainted with hassle + £11.06 DELIVERY & non delivery of items.
Does anyone know where I can get a Solar Cover without a £11.06 delivery charge?
Thnks
