Be careful though I thought I had found a load more the are on the list but scanned high. I think this is to do with being the Original / Platinum and its difficult to tell which is the cheap one from the list.
This is true as I picked up Tony Hawks Underground 2 platinum edition and it was............ £2.97 :T
You will be lucky to find any as Currys staff have lists of all the games on offer! I was looking throught the games with a print out of the early post - a staff member said.... "you got the list, what do you work for currys too?" and then went on to say "we've got all the good ones already"!
I kid you not!!!!!! :mad:0 -
I managed to get Total Overdose, Harry Potter Goblet of fire, THUG 2 and POP two thrones.
Anyone know if this also applies in pcworld? Iv'e run out of local Currys now!
Cheers Shaun.0 -
Went into my local Currys today looking for the bargain games where it was confirmed there were hugely reduced games, but was then told ' You know how it is, they were bought before they even hit the shelves' to which I replied ' I suppose I'll have to get them from ebay then when the staff start listing them:D0

I worked for Currys and made a bundle from these deals over the years. What do you expect! Best deal was 6 electric organs worth about £300 on clearance for £25 a pop. Sold them for a ton apiece on eBay. It paid for my first camcorder. I have no apologies. The pay was crap, and the way people looked down at you did my head in. Why not make a few extra quid?"Don't critisise what people look like, how they speak, where they are from, and what they are called. They cannot help it.
Do critisise what they say, and what they do, especially if what they say is different to what they do. They can help that"

Prey for the PC can also be had for £9.97 at PC World. Which is about the same as Play but if you don't feel like waiting for it.0

I got a few things from Curry's in Trostre Llanelli...
Thank you everyone.
most of the games deals were only on a 5% off deal....
but managed to get a Nintendo DS dating game for my daughter for 97p, so Im not complaining.
I bought a PS2 there 3 weeks ago and I was looking for some games to go with it ready for Christmas, but I wasnt lucky in that department.
