I tried Sicily and it said close but go North.

I know that Aeolus(?) was the wind god so maybe that fits?
I was nowhere near with Hawaii, Japan, north of Crete or Washington, Mind you I couldn,t even see the big orange banner at the bottom properly because the adverts at the side were overlapping, so don,t take any notice of me :rotfl:

I got my Mum to try and from what she said, her guesses in about the same place as some people here gave totally different messages-she said she tried Thera/Thira/little island above Heraklion, and it told her to go South West, then the other side of the world!

I've managed to have another go and taking the clues form above posters about Sicily I put it on Alicudi and got 'Are you the closest?' you've used up all your guesses. so don't know if that is a help to anyone.

To find the islands I used google maps as found that easier and then kept switching back to the one on FB.

It says a new round starts tomorrow so we shall all be off again!

If you click the T&Cs it says it's only for people located in the United States, I hope that's just a mess up since it was posted on the UK page too! I wonder if they'll email the winner when the new round starts, or at the end of all of them?

Nah, is defo for UK folk. Perhaps they are doing one for this side of the pond, and one for the other, and you clicked on the USA T&C? I read...

I cant work out how to get a full screen but i took a screen print and can't work out how to put it here

i zoomed in to the islands above sicily and i placed a flag on the top of the middle island... and got a trophy sign and saying round 2 will start soon... does anyone know if that means i found it??

You need to upload it somewhere online then link that page to here. Facebook is OK at a push. There's load of free image hosting sites out there like Flckr though...right click the pic and it will usually give you the actual image link to post here. Ending in .jpg usually.

Following all the bits of advice about Sicily, I placed the X on the little island of Ustica to the north of Sicily and it said 'close but not close enough, try going east, so I placed my second X on Salina Island and it said 'You're in the right area. Try looking west.

Hope this helps others...
