Where did I ask for your employment history...........?

Ah ok I will email back the ones that got back to me and the woman who called meabout my experience and that she was happy to keep me on file as they are expanding but at the moment.......wait fot it...HAD NO JOBS and tell them not to bother to keep my CV on file in case a role came available.

Do what you like. It's not me who can't find a job.

Cold/warm calling can work. Just because you don't want to do it yourself, it doesn't make it a bad idea.

It's not an excuse its a fact I have no debit card or credit card and to sign up there you need one or the other. I suppose you think we all have credit and debit cards but you can't get one with a basic bank account FACT!

Where do you get your "FACT"s from?

I helped my SIL get a basic bank account with the CoOp and she has a debit card.

    Also Barclays offer one.

Who is your account with? - perhaps you should ditch and switch?

I can't get a bank account only a basic one thanks

My facts will be my poor credit rating and the defult I had on a credit card many years ago that has to be clear for 6 years before it leaves my credit score and the fact I was £20 onver drawn once with no over draft at Barclays and am £1000's in debt and I apply every now and again for an account at different banks and get turned down

    These are basic accounts.

All you have done on this thread is:

    a. moan
    b. put up excuse after excuse

If this is how you are conducting your job searching, then it's pretty clear that you are never going to get any work any time soon. Such an attitude is not going to be an attractive prospect to any employer.

How long have you been out of work? I wonder why......

And you know what, I free REALLY sorry for the OP. The reason that they are getting a hard time from the Job Centre is because they come across attitudes like yours on a daily basis, so they end up cross examining everyone/tarring everyone with the same brush. Which, whilst very unfair, is probably understandable.

    It's heartbreaking.

ETA: I'm out of here. I've better things to do with my time. Good luck - you're going to need it.

Really? MY JC do not even bother to check the jobs I apply for as there are too many (two booklets filled up every 2 weeks) so do not assume to think you know anything about me!
