I had an account years ago.

However on my old a/c if I replied to a thread it automatically subscribed me to that thread on a no email notification basis.

On this new account it doesn't, it gives me the option of ticking a box to subscribed below where I have typed my post.

Is there some setting I need to change so that I automatically subscribe ( no email notification basis) to every thread I post on or is it just because I am new?

They changed the default subscription modes for new accounts some time back.

You can manually set it though.

Click ---> Edit Options

Select "No email notification".



And then click the "Save Changes" button at the bottom of the options page.
