I'm so annoyed! I just opened a letter thinking hubby forgot to pay council tax and it was in our address but had the name of a woman who lived here before us (10 yrs ago), well her first name and previous surname. Apparently she's been claiming benefit from here and it mentioned her daughter who would be 15 so I'm guessing she has lied about that too! I've left a message on the office answer phone as its closed, I hope they sort this out the cheeky mare she is! :mad:

sorry I've not been in the inn for quite a while but I had to pop in today as Tesco's have just delivered my groceries and i'm busting a gut to tell someone what has just happened

I ordered a 1.2kg £13 leg of lamb at half price for £6.50 but when I emptied my shopping I found that they had sent me a 2.4kg £13 leg of lamb which is really too big for the two of us

so I got on the phone to complain which resulted in a £6.50 refund

so I ended up with a £26 leg of lamb for £6.50 :eek:

feel like I have won the lottery

Hope you get it sorted wingo there's far too much of this sort of thing going on at the moment

only last week I received a message from Amazon that someone had tried to open another account and make a purchase with my canceled Egg credit card :mad:

I keep getting emails in my spam box supposedly of Amazon.com (i use the UK site obviously) saying my order has been cancelled.

Alice is doing fine although today isn't one of her best day's as she keeps asking when we are going home, I keep telling her that we can't go home until we have eaten the Leg of Lamb

MSE is struggling for me as well it was timing out earlier and I was unable to connect for quite a while

Well done on the lamb Amilucky? - I would have come round and cooked it for you if you had lived near. I love lamb but the rest of the family don't! I got my chicken free from Tesco last week as they over charged for it.

Haven't been in here much today but seems to be going ok just now.
We have a gorgeous day so have been out for a walk and in the garden.

Hope you get the woman sorted out Wingo. Hate it when something like that happens. DS2s name got muddled with someone elses when he was a kid and they were trying to get Nat Ins payments from him!
