Stayed in this morning to wait on DDs laptop arriving and the delivery guy just left it in the porch - didn't even ring the bell!
Bit chilly here , it is dry but windy.

I'm just toasting some hot crumpets now, and i will smother them with butter. Naughty but my god they are scrumptious - to hell with the diet!!! xx

Good for you - unfortunately if I don't watch my diet none of my clothes are going to fit!:rotfl:

Hi Sheils! Going ok here, just do what i can - hope is all well with you to. I too am waiting for delivery for my son's birthday gifts - have ordered pressies for him but tend to get quite paranoid re delivery. I do depend on this sort of thing but it can be quite worrying. I'm fearful of going out shopping to the village incase i miss them, but neighbours are very kind and we tend to take post in between us if anyone is not in.

Still worry tho. xxx

Yep - same with me - lol - reckon I will soon be looking to getting one of yon onesy outfits (grown up all in one babygrow efforts!!!) :rotfl::rotfl:But .... don't think it would go down well at me daughters wedding!!!

So: Next week - no more crumpets, longer walks, and a bit of: should help the cause!!! Plus watercress soup which I understand is absolutely mega!! Will be trying out the recipe next week. xxx

Hope you have all had a good day,I am fine,Went to my parents for lunch,I have been listening to Absolute Radio as they are giving away free ipad 3's all this week,sign into your Absolute Account or register,then when they announce about the ipad on air,go to their Radio player and press Click this on their banner,Took me a good hour and finally sorted out what to do to enter,am entered for today and will know tomorrow.2 more days left so not entered from beginning of the week,Never mind.

Been to the clothes shops trying on some outfits and shocked myself by how fat and frumpy I felt. So I came home and just had a big piece of chocolate cake that a friend had made for us! :rotfl:.....i'll start to cut down next week....(hopefully!)

Freezing here to VW, was lovely up until 3 o'clock school run now its chucking it down!

Good job you managed to see the laptop in the porch sheils, anyone could have taken it.

Chocolate cake sounds lovely wingo! I don't know what I've done to the delivery guys - none of them seem to want my signature! Our porch is always open so they just seem to chuck the stuff in and go. Last time I got to the door before the guy and he moaned he had just been going to leave it to save time. At least they don't take the things back.
