Change of username

I e-mailed MSE several days ago asking for a change of username and explained why,i have repeated this today as i have not yet received a reply,how long does it take.

depends i suppose on how busy they are?
of course you could just create a new username and let the old one die a natural death

Surely this is the easiest option. You can re-subscribe to any threads you want, the only thing I can't get back is my 1000 post count and mse title/medals.

Why not just create a new username, easy to do, chnage the email address linked to this account to a gmail 1.

I agree takes all of 5 minutes instead OP is waiting 3-4 days and still no end in site

You then lose your ability to post URLs.
