5.75 kWh for us for the past 2 days. Too tired to work out the ho's at this unearthly hour!!!

Whilst posting, (I know this is not the right thread to post this question on). But, does anyone have any thoughts on the iBoost verses the Immersun please??? Having had our gas disconnected we are now all electric so have an immersion heater. We are exporting the majority of our generated electric as we currently only use 2kWh per day average so are looking in to either one of those!! Any thoughts anyone??? Not sure if this makes any difference or not but we have the new type electric meter!!

I've just had Solar iBoost installed. Working fine so far.
I was startled by the number of different devices on the market, but concluded that they all did much the same job. If you want a bit of reporting, or the ability to send power to multiple immersions/heaters, the choice was between Immersun and the Solar iBoost. The Immersun has more detailed historical reporting, and much better expansion capability; but my needs are simple, and I chose the iBoost because that was what my chosen supplier recommended, at an acceptable cost.

Thank you for your response Hetty.

Would you mind me asking roughly how much you paid to have it installed!! We have been quoted just over £400 from a very reputable local company. Does that sound about right???

Thanks for any responses guys and girls!!!

They are really so simple to install between your immersion heater and fuse/switch (however yours has been wired). I did mine myself and got a friend to pass his IEC (or whatever its called) eye over the installation the next time he was passing. I paid under £200 for my Iboost last summer brand new off Ebay.
Certainly a highly recommended piece of kit. As an example, today I have generated a bit over 8Kwh of which 4.75Kwh have been dumped to hot water via my Iboost. Thats a full complete tank of DHW which will still be hot enough tomorrow morning (with a well insulated tank).
