Logged in and lego beat me the explanation of an O so 0.9 O's today for me(SSW only)
Only 12kWh needed on this system for PVGIS in 7 days and according to the BBC some decent weather on its way http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/s43?day=4 ....we shall see2 kWp SEbE , 2kWp SSW & 2.5kWp NWbW.....in sunny North Derbyshire17.7kWh Givenergy battery added(for the power hungry kids)0 -

Definition of 'O's = kWh/kWp (kWh = your daily & accurate Generation figure) (kWp = the rated output of your PV system)
Better day here.0.925 O's today:D or 3.7kWh
Must be because the days are getting longer....or are they:think::question:

:xmassign: everyone
So I've done 1.48 "O's" today?
5.81kWh generated on a 3.92kWp system.0 -

Anyone want to explain "O"s to me? This thread is 409 pages long. I'll be here until next Christmas trying to work out what you're all chattering about
:rotfl: Your answer was on the same page you posted your question..:rotfl: In my signature..:T Before you ask a/an Hawaii is 5 O's..
1.72 O's; better.......
2.5 kWp PV system, SSW facing, 45 Deg Roof. ABB Inverter, Monitor: 'Wattson'.

Well I might play the "O's" game then going forward. Seems simple enough. Hopefully the lousy numbers of late won't be repeated going forward...0

I had a similar problem at first (-: It seemed such a rationale approach to comparison that I was Googling for the answer. Apparently, it was invented here. It makes sense provided that denominator is the DC output of the system rather than the rated AC output of the panels.
On that basis, at the Centre of England (very close to Meriden) my Os for today are 1.24. I even got 1.34 kWh contribution to my water heating saving me nearly six pence in gas.I have osteoarthritis in my hands so I speak my messages into a microphone using Dragon. Some people make "typos" but I often make "speakos".0 -

Ah, and obviously, less helpful to others that don't read them....2.5 kWp PV system, SSW facing, 45 Deg Roof. ABB Inverter, Monitor: 'Wattson'.
