I'd rather it be cloudy Handy Andy than what we have forecast for later(SNOW), at least with cloud you generate "something"....back in 2012 I had a spell where my panels produced zilch for nearly 2 weeks due to a snow covering

That would suck. I've only had one zero day, ever. Snow doesn't tend to stick around here long - it has happened, just not often. I don't think the forecast snow (which probably won't even settle here) will be around for long either.
It does suck having the heap pump running and not getting any freeness towards it today though. I'm barely generating enough to run the telly at the moment!0 -
I'm at least covering my base load...sun's even trying to break through as I type and my SSW(2kWp system as you can't see sigs) is hitting 300Wh generation all by its lonesome. We've probably got half a dozen wall chargers plugged in too charging all the crimbo gizmos...AGAIN
