Best of Luck! Go Mart Go Mart Go!

Technically I now have 2.5 systems (AC side done including inverter, but DC side ..... no panels, doesn't work to well without panels!), hopefully that will become 3 on Sunday! Am I panicking, of course not, I mean, what else could possibly go wrong. ;)

Got a 19 today, 20 yesterday, so 6 days of 19 to 21 in a row, over 80% of my theoretical max, spreadsheet damage showing signs of repair.

    Mart.
Mart. Cardiff. 8.72 kWp PV systems (2.12 SSW 4.6 ESE & 2.0 WNW). 20kWh battery storage. Two A2A units for cleaner heating. Two BEV's for cleaner driving.

For general PV advice please see the PV FAQ thread on the Green & Ethical Board.

22.37 kWh Wednesday (a few puffy high clouds at lunchtime).
23.72 kWh Thursday (the "fug" in the morning had drifted over Kent.)
????? Friday "heavy showers" will try to cross the Thames from Kent? Cross fingers for the opening ceremony, or will God provide extra fireworks?

Friday afternoon update. Warm humid and overcast trundling along generating a bit over 1 kW

Back to normality - cloud nearly all day and 6.15kWh. Need to average just under 7kWh/day for 4 days to hit PVGIS for July. Won't be able to update for a while.
2kWp Solar PV - 10*200W Kioto, SMA Sunny Boy 2000HF, SSE facing, some shading in winter, 37° pitch, installed Jun-2011, inverter replaced Sep-2017 AND Feb-2022.

I'll have to go away more often !

    Two really good days :-

    27th : 23.07kWh
    28th : 24.06kWh

405 kWh so far in July, pvgis forecast is 456 for month so three reasonable days may see me getting that (but ELRC is bound to thwart that !)
NE Derbyshire.4kWp S Facing 17.5deg slope (dormer roof).24kWh of Pylontech batteries with Lux controller BEV : Hyundai Ioniq5

Our generation has been 20.4kWh and 21.6kWh in the past two days. Every day in the last week has been a 20+ and our rolling averages have notched up two new records: 14day average is at 18.0kWh and the 7 day average is a stonking 21.8kWh. Even the 30day average is only 1.1kWh below our peak of 15.3kWh achieved in April, which considering the shocking start to July is frankly hard to believe.

Only 5.8kWh needed to hit PVGIS for July, reckon we should managed that in the next three days :rotfl:

I also took a look at our electricity import figures, which are 45% down on this time last year (which was before we got the Solar installed late Oct). That translates as a £1.83 saving per week, but the unit costs are higher this year than last. In raw kWh terms, we're importing only 172kWh/month as opposed to 310kWh/month this time last year.

What can be said to that; apart from..:T:T:T
