Just short of a Hawaii here - 19.939 Kw and to be honest I have been glued to a PC, working all day and quite surprised to hear how hot it had been. One of the benefits of a well-insulated house I supposed. I will have the dehydrator on over the next couple of days whilst the sun shines..

Wattson Anywhere still going well, apart from last Thursday, when it thought I'd used 170kWh and was drawing 36kW. Turning it off and on again and replugging all cables fixed this.

Glad it's not just me that sees the occasional strange figure from Wattson !

I occasionally see a generation 'spike' of a couple of kW during hours of darkness (and I've never seen any reports of a sudden supernova at similar times :rotfl: ). I sometimes also see a net result during daytime that simply can't be true. However, the thing is a fairly reliable indication of what is happening most of the time so I just ignore the odd silly result.

Yep, you'll also notice I have a consistent 40W being generated overnight. Must be those new LED street lamps ;)

Glorious sunshine predicted for the next few days, and I'm already at 105% above month to date PVGIS, so I expect that figure to get better over the coming days. Long may the glorious weather continue.

Suspect that will actually be a consistent 40W being used to keep inverter in its backup state. That doesn't happen here - my Wattson trace usually shows 0W for generation (apart from the silly spikes). Not sure whether my SMA inverter really does hibernate with zero usage or if my Wattson detector head is just less sensitive.

That is what the manufacturer thought. The strange thing is, it never used t read 40W - was always 0W overnight. It started a few months ago. Also, the specs for my inverter list standby as 0.15W. Now I don't quite believe that, but even so 40W is several orders of magnitude. My cables (and hence CT clamps) are all very close together, with two practically touching - I wonder if trying to spread them out would help. Will try when I've got a few minutes.

By all means try that - but I wouldn't bank on it solving prob. My clamps are well separated and the SP one in particular is inside the isolator's steel box.

Just a point Mac, have you downloaded the latest firmware for Wattson yet from the Energeno site? smiley-laughing021.gif

Definition of 'O's = kWh/kWp (kWh = your daily & accurate Generation figure) (kWp = the rated output of your PV Panels).
