    :huh: .... so reducing the generating period by 7 days results in a higher income over a shorter timescale ? ...... :cool:, great trick ... so comparing my generation to someone having a system for a one day period (yesterday), we made over 16GWh and made over £7million (I wish!) ...

    ... or is there a mistake in the referenced logic ?? .... :D

    The clue was in the reply "if I were to use the same period as you":laugh:

    My period ended on May 14th. Oscars on May 21st.
    By changing my start date (for comparison) to Oscars is a truer reflection;)

    You are, of course quite correct, that you made a truer comparison than I. The comparison does not of course take into account the differing locations we have, but I do think that it reflects how, despite differing PV system size, quite a relevant comparison can be achieved (By the use of O's or kWh/kWp).
    Time to get back to the spreadsheet Legoman; my 1/4 ended on the 22nd not the 21st......smiley-laughing021.gif

    Now that we're approaching the Summer Solstice, my shallow pitch is better than most people's steeper ones. Today wasn't a brilliant day but my 11.4 kWh (and if you really want to waste your time dividing by 4 you'll note that gives more than 2.2 !) was way over the ISA-break even point. Several £10+ days earlier this week.

    OK. My new total (using the same dates as yours) is 1105.5kWh.

    My payment using the "O" system would be £138.00 (for comparison);)
