Renewables: "talking 'bout my generation"

What with the so-called Jubilee holiday (should have been in February really), Queen's official birthday weekend & Trooping of Colour plus Wimblebore, June hadn't a prayer of seeing any sunshine. July may not be any better (rest of WRC and Olympics) but I'm confident of a few good days in August September and even October.
August - Olympics don't finish until mid August
September - Paralympics

As for a tree, there is a tree on land of my next door and the house at the back. There is a shade early in morning. Here is the photo from the behind houses.

So that tree is South East of your 12 panel array and the chimney is at its NE corner?
Taking 10 courses of bricks off the chimney, would make a slight difference but I think a panel's view of the tree would recommend copper nails. [Send off for stuff from surveyors/lawyers/tree surgeons about the perils of subsidence, using your neighbour's name and address?I am built on clay so I am neurotic about cracks.
BTW unless you reduce a tree to less than 10% of its former size, pruning only stimulates the roots to even greater efforts]
I chopped down a Eucalyptus in my garden and was amazed by the increased light in the room under the panels; you don't realise how "overgrowth" creeps up on you.0 -

Silly question, but how come there is no tree in the first photo, but the second photo makes it look like you live on the 'forest moon of Endor'?
Mart.Mart. Cardiff. 8.72 kWp PV systems (2.12 SSW 4.6 ESE & 2.0 WNW). 20kWh battery storage. Two A2A units for cleaner heating. Two BEV's for cleaner driving.

Mart.
Hi Mart.
The photo with chimney is taken from my back garden. As for the photo of tree only place to take the picture is from the road at the back. Tree is located at the next door and house at the back.

Hi All
By creating a plant on http://solargis.info/pvspot/system, for my location and system it states that Expected electricity production [kWh] so far for July should be 63 and so far my system generated 58 so not to far behind.
For June it states minus 6 days where I didn't have system should have been 207 kwh, my system did 200.
I think I am just worrying for nothing,, just need few good days are weather. Maybe after a week or so we should get some

Hiya Shafeeq. I've just checked PVspot, usually pop on every few weeks or so.
For July so far, it suggests 80, I've had 82
June, suggests 311 got 343
May suggests 453 got 443
So it can vary a bit. It was much 'tighter' a while back, but since we've had this very variable weather, it's got slightly more erratic. Good of course, just slightly 'looser'.
Quite how you predict generation with rain stopping and starting, and varying from one street to the next, must be a nightmare.
I think you're looking good so far.
