2.5 kWp PV system, SSW facing, 45 Deg Roof. ABB Inverter, Monitor: 'Wattson'.
Reg. for FIT Nov 2011. "It's not what you generate; it's how you use it that matters". One very clean Vauxhall Diesel Sri, £30.00 Road Tax: B)

Definition of 'O's = kWh/kWp (kWh = your daily & accurate Generation figure) (kWp = the rated output of your PV Panels).

End of FIT quarter today, 268kWh generated since mid-November.

For comparison, generation for same quarter in previous years:
    2010-11, 190
    2011-12, 285
    2012-13, 225
    2013-14, 268
2.22kWp Solar PV system installed Oct 2010, Fronius IG20 Inverter, south facing (-5 deg), 30 degree pitch, no shading
Everything will be alright in the end so, if it’s not yet alright, it means it’s not yet the end

  • Yesterday was a very dull day, so I was not expecting much power generation. I monitor the power of my two systems on Owl monitors in my office. At 9:30am the second system on my garage appeared to have gone to sleep - it was quite dark and the rain was falling hard. There was still no output at 10:30am. Rather than brave the weather I decided to see what the SE on-line monitoring portal said. It showed there was no connection to the inverter. Raincoats and wellingtons on it was a trip down the garden to the garage. Wind had caused something to hit the cover on the garage consumer unit and the lid had been knocked off and that in turn had switched off several of the circuit breakers. Power was restored to the inverter and generation restarted. Still only managed to generate 683Wh.

Fantastic day here - 12.66 kWh (first double digit day this year !)

Alas, I had to go out for much of day but at least the immersion heater had a bit of a boost. If the forecasters are to be believed (and I don't often :D) that will have to last me till Sunday.
