    Hi

.... someone, somewhere will be fortunate enough to have seen a decent amount of bright sky and will probably be along later to gloat, even though yesterday's generation could have been abysmal ....

Overall, averages are averages and each system is different - so take more heed of them and the estimated figures from PVGIS ( http://re.jrc.ec.europa.eu/pvgis/apps4/pvest.php ) than some of the incredible figures you may see on these boards.

    Hi

To place into context, our system marginally outperformed the UK average last month, we had good days and bad days. Today is yet another bad day, ~1.6kWh generated so far (14:40), but it's now hammering down with rain and the inverter's gone to sleep (0W) .... someone, somewhere will be fortunate enough to have seen a decent amount of bright sky and will probably be along later to gloat, even though yesterday's generation could have been abysmal ....

WNW here gathering momentum too, with 1.7kWh. Obviously seeing more sunlight, if not for long. Got 1.56 Os, best day this year so far, and pulled the week back up to average/target.

    Mart.
Mart. Cardiff. 8.72 kWp PV systems (2.12 SSW 4.6 ESE & 2.0 WNW). 20kWh battery storage. Two A2A units for cleaner heating. Two BEV's for cleaner driving.

For general PV advice please see the PV FAQ thread on the Green & Ethical Board.
