Just had a row with my installer as I spoke with REAL and Niceic today about problems with the panels and overhang to gutters. Installer blazing mad and telling me I've shot myself in the foot as I will need them in the future and they have done nothing wrong. I was left feeling in the wrong and not them...he told me to speak to whoever I wanted as he's not interested as he has a good reputation with REAL!

Their quote "needing them in the future" is not a good remark, and does not instill confidence; unless they mean in over 20 years. Don't know who the best people are to speak with re: overhang to gutter. Maybe Trading Standards or CAB at a rough guess???2.5 kWp PV system, SSW facing, 45 Deg Roof. He has just told me he is 'disappointed' with me, has one everything for me, and REAL will do nothing, so I can speak to who I like as they know how good he is and he has done nothing wrong. The words about the future were quite worrying. The company had promised roofers today. None turned up. I. Increasingly feel ive been missold as only on install did I become aware they were placing to the north west..the figures don't now marry up In terms of projections and payback but he says he stands by his figures. He suggested they go away, but used a word starting with 'f'. As he pointed out our language is one of the most versatile and variable, and has never stood still, though it has slowed down due to the use of dictionaries.
Our language is probably the most democratic thing we have. Once a majority start to use something, it becomes the new norm.
The nation's youth would be better educated if QI wasn't banned from so many homes due to Fry's foul mouth.0 -
