3.87 O's to end the month at 105% PVGIS.
6.4kWp (16 * 400Wp REC Alpha) facing ESE + 5kW Huawei inverter + 10kWh Huawei battery. Buckinghamshire.7 -
3.9 O's yesterday. Last week or so of May really helped, ended the month at 120% PVGIS very happy with that.
5.5kWp Solar PV System. South herts, SE facing 12 panels. 6kw inverter, 5 kwh Battery. Apr 2025 install7 -
May results.
Month was good, with 100% of target. Bit of a spread, with 97% for the ESE/SSW* and 114% for the WNW. But the WNW figure isn't impacted by battery charging losses, and will be a truer representation of the months 'real' generation. Year end projection ~97% of target.
[*2.1kWp SSW ground mount is steep pitched for winter, and sits between a large tree to the SE and the house to the SW, so will incurr some shading throughout Apr-Sep. The rest of the PV is roof mounted, ESE & WNW, and receives some shading, but all PV is Solaredge to minimise shading losses.]
Generated 999kWh (114.50 O's).
Imported 512kWh. [Roughly 97% cheap]
Exported 879kWh.
Total consumption 632kWh. [House and transport now fully electric. DHW 53kWh]
Estimated leccy bill for the year, at current rates, is ~£550. Estimated export income, at current rates (reduced from 15p to 12p/kWh), is ~£440 to £480. Nice.
Mart. Cardiff. 8.72 kWp PV systems (2.12 SSW 4.6 ESE & 2.0 WNW). 28kWh battery storage. Two A2A units for cleaner heating. Two BEV's for cleaner driving.
For general PV advice please see the PV FAQ thread on the Green & Ethical Board.8 -

A dismal start to June at 1.44 Os. Forecast looks much the same for the next fortnight. On the brighter side, the trees and perennials I planted are getting a good watering. Daren't look at the slug forecast.

Really dismal 0.85 O's today - not even close to covering our usage.
