Which number are they after?
I haven't received that myself yet but I'd imagine they may want to check as the number on our MCS certificate doesn't really match our panels.
We have total panel capacity of 3.01kWp, inverter 3kW and the certificate shows 2.80kWRemember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0 -
.........So I telephoned BG and it turns out they had the theoretical maximum kWp that the panels could produce but not THE NUMBER OF PANELS.
As they are cheap as chips now, perhaps BG was worried that I might sneak a couple more winter booster panels onto the roof.
As if I would have an idea like that;)
[Mind you with the present grey weather day after day, I need half a dozen more up there now].0 -
Wow, A few days away and the poo has certainly hit the fan in here......:rotfl:.
And can the person who stole the sun please give it back as I've had to "buy" 53kWh in the past week. Luckily my generation has paid for it with some profit.....just.
I still need to generate 53kWh in the next 9 days to reach 700kWh for my next 1/4 reading(ESE system only).
And before Eric gets it in.....its all down hill now till Christmas:eek:2 kWp SEbE , 2kWp SSW & 2.5kWp NWbW.....in sunny North Derbyshire17.7kWh Givenergy battery added(for the power hungry kids)0 -

Not quite all downhill - the winter solstice will occur a few days before Xmas so there should be a little more power than your absolute minimum available for turkey roasting:DNE Derbyshire.4kWp S Facing 17.5deg slope (dormer roof).24kWh of Pylontech batteries with Lux controller BEV : Hyundai Ioniq50 -
4.6 O's for me. Global Warming! My Butt. More like the Ice Age again; not that I was around for the last one or possibly the next one.........neither will anyone else on here, (apart from Eric who is bound to be checking if the forecast is correct) so there will be no debate or correction posts from the rest of us......:rotfl::rotfl:2.5 kWp PV system, SSW facing, 45 Deg Roof. 2.28 O's!!!!!! what is occurring, is it Global Warming ?...:D2.5 kWp PV system, SSW facing, 45 Deg Roof. ABB Inverter, Monitor: 'Wattson'.

Back in the 1960s, main stream weather scientists (can those two words really appear together ?) were telling us that the interglacial period was coming to an end and we could expect a new ice age to start very soon (about now indeed).
I wouldn't go so far as to say they've been proved right but perhaps you can appreciate why I'm not getting excited at global warming forecasts.NE Derbyshire.4kWp S Facing 17.5deg slope (dormer roof).24kWh of Pylontech batteries with Lux controller BEV : Hyundai Ioniq50 -

Neither am I and I would suspect, a host of others would agree.
Mixed bag again today; only 4.68 O's...:(2.5 kWp PV system, SSW facing, 45 Deg Roof. ABB Inverter, Monitor: 'Wattson'.

Mixed weather and mixed bag of results, last two days beat target (22kWh) despite being very, very messy. Thursday was rather painful.
W - 25.3kWh - 4.53 Os
T - 4.7kWh - 0.84 Os
F - 25.1kWh - 4.5 Os
S - 22.1kWh - 3.96 Os
Currently projecting 105% for June, if all average till end, but long-term forecast is a total mess - anything could happen. But, almost impossible now, not to beat last years disastrous 82%. Phew!
Mart.Mart. Cardiff. 8.72 kWp PV systems (2.12 SSW 4.6 ESE & 2.0 WNW). 20kWh battery storage. Two A2A units for cleaner heating. Two BEV's for cleaner driving.
